If you’re seeking new inspiration, need to reconnect with your own songwriting, looking to collaborate or want guidance to help break through a creative block, then join us for five days of daily masterclasses and writing challenges with our Writers in Residence, in the wilderness of Knoydart.
Our unique five-day retreats are aimed at songwriters of a certain level and not towards beginners. Each retreat will be mentored by our Writers in Residence, who are award winning, internationally recognised songwriters. All attendees stay together in a big, fully catered house on the shores of Loch Nevis (meaning Heaven).
Throughout the retreat, our Writers in Residence will share their experiences and approaches to their own songwriting and help us create the environment that will guide, encourage ,and challenge you to dig deeper into your writing abilities.
You'll also have plenty of time for one-to-one sessions with the Writers to talk in depth about you own song writing, any creative struggles they may be experiencing and to receive advice and constructive critique.
This can also include career advice if required.
FIND YOURSELF IN THE WILDERNESS
On the final night we put on our End of Retreat concert in award winning Knoydart Community Hall right in the heart of Inverie, Knoydart where you all get to perform your favourite songs that you have written during the week to a live audience.
Now add into the mix great food, conversation, adventure, guitars and whisky by the fire, new friendships, laughter, silent walks in the wilderness, star gazing, the chance to see the Aurora Borealis, spectacular sunrises and sunsets and rainbows like you’ve never seen… this really will be an inspirational week in the wilderness for all.
